“I’m wild about Anne William!”@dupuisshowreads
I was first sucked in by the cover art and was happily met with a beautiful story. If you like rom-com novellas, stolen glances, laughing out loud (not the lol-kind, the irl kind), and need a fun, refreshing read then this story by author Anne William is for you!
Plot Summary
Meet Celeste. She knows what she wants and is determined to keep her eye on the prize. Will the prize be everything she dreamed of?
Enter Brady. He knows who he is and is comfortable in his ways, until he becomes uncomfortable. Does discomfort drive him?
Throw in adventure, animals, tenderness, and a clean love story (nope I will not tell you who end up with who) to wrap this novella up in a beautiful, romantic bow.
This is the perfect tale about truly loving yourself before you can be loved by someone else. THAT’S IT! THAT’S ALL YOU ARE GETTING OUT OF ME! You have to read the book and tell me if you agree.
What I Liked
This book is part of a series! #2 is Wild About My Enemy (available now) and coming early this year is #3 is Wild About My Fake Fiancée. I love when authors are able to create crossover characters and a little world for me to visit!!
The nature setting. I’m an outdoors person and spend α lot of time hiking and exploring with my husband. The love stories taking place where mine does makes them super relatable, so if you adventure with your partner, it’ll strike α chord with you too!
The love story. It was realistic (I’m here for realistic characters and stories) as I saw pieces of my own relationships throughout, and not just in α romantic sense.
The epilogue. No spoilers but I had to mention it because normally I’m not an epilogue kinda girl. But I am here for this one. FIRST. TIME. EVER. Thanks, Anne!
Anne pulls you in with clever repartee and doesn’t let go. I’m new to reading romance, so speaking as someone who read novels mainly of the classic genre, this was the BEST introduction to rom-com novellas.
Disclaimer: I signed up for the authors newsletter and received this ebook as a free gift. I will be purchasing the paperback (as this is a reread) and all future titles by Anne!
